Here is the second part of the story......
Link becomes...
The Hero of Time...
However, Link was too young to be the Hero of Time, so his spirit was sealed in the Temple of Light for 7 years, when he was old enough to become the Hero of Time. Link awoke in the Chamber of Sages, which is situated in the middle of the Temple of Light, inside the Sacred Realm.
There he meets Rauru, the Light Sage. Looking at himself in amazement, Link can hardly believe that he has grown up. Rauru explains to Link why he has slept for 7 years, and what has happened during those years. Although Link opened the Door of Time in peace, Ganondorf appeared and used the open entrance to the Sacred Realm to obtain the Triforce. However, the Triforce was mysteriously seperated into the three parts that it represents: Power, Wisdom, and Courage. Ganondorf obtained the Triforce of Power, and became a mighty, evil king with even more terrifying powers which he used to transform Hyrule into a world of monsters.
This evil has also consumed the temples in Hyrule. Link learns that the other 5 Sages needed his help to break the curses upon the temples in which the those Sages dwell, so that the Sages will hear the Call of Awakening, which summons the Sages together to fight evil as one.
This power to fight evil with the Sages makes Link the Hero of Time.
Link returned to Hyrule – The Temple of Time - with a mission: To break the curses upon the Temples to free the Sages, who, once their power was free, would seal Ganondorf away in the Sacred Realm. But just as Link takes two steps to leave the Temple of Time, someone appears behind him. Turning around, sword in hand, Link sees a Shiekah.
Shiek, survivor of the Shiekahs, becomes Link’s guide to the whereabouts of special items he needs, the 5 temples – Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, and Spirit – and most importantly, Shiek teaches Link powerful melodies to play on the Ocarina of Time which can trasport Link to 6 different areas in Hyrule. However, once Shiek would teach these melodies, he would quickly disapear from Link’s sight, disabling Link from getting too close.
One by one, Link battled his way though the Temples, conquered the boss enemies that lurked the deepest of the Temples, and freed the Sages – all of his old friends: Saria had become the Forest Sage, Darunia had become the Fire Sage, Princess Ruto, still in love with Link, had become the Water Sage, Impa became the Shadow Sage, and through strange means of time traveling, Link had met Nabooru, head female of the Gorons, as a child, and she too became a Sage – the Spirit Sage.
Once receiving the last medallion needed – finally, Link has the power of the Sages at his side! – Rauru informs Link that it is now time for the final showdown – with Ganondorf, the King of Evil.
But before Link battles the Evil King, there is someone waiting for him at the Temple of Time…
